Complaint Policy

It is natural that parents may, occasionally, be concerned about an aspect of their child’s education or welfare at school. This could include issues concerning the school’s approach to aspects of the curriculum, homework, behavioral problems or any other issue.

The school welcomes enquiries from parents about any matter. The vast majority of concerns will be handled by the class teacher or by the subject coordinator if this is more helpful. Fortunately, Qadims has already developed the peace education syllabus. The syllabi are taught on weekly basis in the classes. Conflict resolving skills are the most important component of the syllabus which helps out the students to resolve their issues peacefully.

Parents are welcome to enquire about their child’s personality development, behavioral issues and academic understanding during the academic year. At all times the staff will help to resolve a problem. If occasionally parents feel they must state their concern formally, this too is not a problem. The school has defined procedures for handling complaints so don’t be embarrassed if you feel an issue warrants more attention.

The school has developed a control cell which is comprised of the complaint registrar and student’s councilors. The usual format is to contact the school office to arrange an appointment to discuss your concern with whoever you wish to. Parents are advised to register their complaints with a relevant authority. If the complaint is related to the behavior of the child then the student councilor conduct a meeting and the whole the situation is discussed and a time table of the behavior session is set.

If the complaint is related to academics issues then a meeting is set with a teacher where the teachers and staff will explain the school practices, policies, and how they affect the pupils. These issues are discussed in depth until it is resolved.

If in doubt, keep asking until you are completely satisfied as all staff is eager to help.
